Funny/interesting ways to die on games

lol that reminds me of something funny i did when fighting one of my friends in brawl i was on my last life geting owned so i picked up a bob-omb and went for a kamakazi run to kill us both ended badly cuz he cought it and threw it back at me XD i got blasted off the stage.

In Oblivion, Molag Bal (one of the Daedric [demonic] Princes) has a quest for you. He wants you to corrupt a Paladin who has sworn not to pick up a weapon, ever since his wife died while he was away fighting. If you attack him anywhere but his wife's grave, he doesn't counterattack. You have to drop a cursed mace on his wife's grave and attack him; he gets mad that you desecrated a sacred place or something, picks up the mace and attacks you. Molag Bal has ordered you to let the Paladin kill you, and he'll rescue you. Probably.  :P So anyway, the Paladin's really weak - you have to sit there for ages, thinking "How could this guy have survived a battle, let alone a war?" When he finally kills you, Molag Bal revives you at his shrine and congratulates you  for corrupting the Paladin, giving you his mace. Not the cursed one, a different one. Probably.  :P

In 'A Link to the Past', 'Ocarina of Time' and other Zelda games it's very easy to die after trying to slice up some cuccoos (cuccos?). It's the same with pigs in 'The Wind Waker'.

I loved the Cuccoos and their evil tendencies X3 Funniest memories of the whole game... except the ReDeads, they brought terror and hilarity to every installment (minus Twilight Princess, they weren't as funny...)

An interesting way to die, which I never really thought of in any real detail, is the bottomless pit. Just sorta occurred to me when playing Crash Bandicoot today that bottomless pits are a humiliting and weird way to die XD In Sonic and Mario, they're not even bottomless, but rather borders that will kill you if you touch them, causing you to actually gain altitude before falling off screen XD
In Crash, he falls, but his shoes fly back up again? o.o What's in those holes!? Just sorta interests me ^^

[Stranger]

In Portal, the most amusing way to die is to be hit by a power pellet, which vaporizes you. Falling in water is more frustrating than annoying, and incineration is just sad. Though you can also be crushed by lifts and moving platforms.

In Iji, most 'humorous' death involves shooting a wall right in your face with an explosive weapon, though in most modes you'd have to do it a lot without healing. It's actually necessary to get some secrets.

In I Wanna Be The Guy (which I have only seen) everything from cherries to the moon can kill you instantly. It even fakes a Windows error message, which can kill you if you don't wise up in time.

Well he is Australian, and as we all know, when Australian's die, they play the only instrument they've ever played. Because we all know Australians are known for living and dying by the digeriedo =D

Actually, I used to play the trumpet....... =/

In Sonic 2 on the chemical plant zone, if you are going too fast around the first loop, it glitches you and you're stuck.

Also in Brawl, when you pick up and electrode and try to trhrow it at someone and it blows up in your hand.

Also in Brawl, trowing a bonsly at someone and having it reflected, no time to recover, just pwned

BioShock. Near the start of the Neptune's Bounty area, a Rosie had just finished dealing with some splicers, and chucked a mine which landed right next to the raised boardwalk area. As it started to walk away and up onto the boardwalk, another splicer appeared, noticed me, and tried to push past the Rosie to get down to me. Well, nobody pushes a Rosie. Rather, the Rosie pushed the Splicer out of its way, off the boardwalk, and straight into the leftover mine.

In The World Ends With You, when you fight the Progfox(the first boss noise in the game), Use Joshua's Fusion pin attack right before it uses the 9 tail laserbeam. If you do it right the game will freeze. (I say Joshua because I just did it minutes prior to this post. I don't know if it would do the same thing with Beat or Shiki, I'm still on my first run through the game.) It's not really a death, but it is interesting. And if I'm not mistaken, Stranger is the only one on this site that knows what I'm talking about.
