Well, yea. I found a copy of Emerald lying around (we have like 4 in this house I swear), popped it in, and found that it was saved in the middle of the first town you go to. And the only pokemon in this guy's possession was a Poochyena. First reaction: wtf? Second Reaction: I could make an amazing Nuzlocke story using this.
Rurus:
1) Faint = Dead
2) Only the first pokemon you see can be caught
2a) Dupes clause is on (can't catch duplicates)
3) all rival fights are considered to be fighting a Swampert with pokemon.
4) Nickname EVRYTHIN.
Wish me luck on this. (I will post comics done as best I can when I can in the gallery.)
Dude, best of luck to you on your nuzlocke run. I did one for leafgreen and it was really hard. Would like to see comics of your travels.

Re: The everyday thread
(Im making this just to make a post for that Vacation I had...I can't find the right words to word it as much as I wanted to, so im gonna just give all the details and skip story)
first off, this trip was to accomplish in Nevada:
1) visiting Wills relatives (you may know one on XBL as
Armadilloguy
)
2)finding some stuff to get at the outdoorsman store.
3) attend the annual Gun show in Reno.
things I've learned on this trip.
-even in the cities out there, it's a hell of alot more peaceful then California, let alone Bakersfield!
-outdoors stores don't have guns just for hunting...they also had an MP5's (converted to fire.22, most likely semi auto) with a suppressor! at one,
several variants of the AK47/74 (we saw one in Bakersfield right before we left...looked all stupid to abide CA laws)
they had a M11 (most likely semi-auto)
an Uzi (carbine version)
F2000 (...awesome)
M1 Garands, M1 carbines, Thompsons, several versions of the M-16,many many shotguns,ALL SORTS OF STUFF!!! it was awesome.
-at another store, I learned if I wanted a knife, I shouldnt buy snacks on the way to the store...cause then I couldnt buy it...*facepalm*
-when a store does successfully...they like to show it off...by buying indoor feris-wheels , and huge aquariums.
-the ladys running Nascar rides booth had a "thing" for Ruby and I... it was kinda creepy. (but who am I to complain
)
- the gunshow is Epic only if you find both halfs
-the Styer AUG was a bit heavier then I though for a gun with plastic parts, and lighter then I thought for how many parts were in the gun...it was perfectly Solid and I love it twice as much now
, thats is what topped off the trip for me. also I now know next time I go, I should have something over $1500 cause it, with its cool red-dot scope, plus four mags is a good deal I would think. (plus a few stalls over they were selling AUG 42-rounder mags for $20-40...so yea, that be overly epic XD )
- If I ever go to a gunshow selling 50 rounds on an M60 belt full of blanks for $15, im getting it.
(when I picked it up, I turned to Will and said "I want this necklace". I was dumb not to the first time..
-"Dragons breath" shotshells are attainable for civilians =D (and they say, under the right conditions, the fireball it shoots can stretchout a whole football field!)
-"Ball'n'chain" Bolo shells are attainable for civilians =D (they cut things in half)
-.50cal API rounds are attainable for civilians =D (can you spell...OVERKILL!!)
- Body armor is soon gonna be illegal to obtain at all
(cause when a cop is getting shot at, of course they would pull out a pistol instead of the rifle in the trunk, and shoot for disable shots instead of kill shots, cause his life totally dosnt depend on it
)
-I respect the M14 for the heavy piece of awesome it truly is. heavier than a mossin-nagant, heavier then the AUG. thats as solid as they get.
-Trench knifes are badass.
-also, Ruby will be forever terrified of Thomas Jefferson because he scared the crap outa her at the mall when he decided to come alive randomly.
-and last but not least, it is indeed all worth the 9-10 hour drive to and from Nevada to see all of this, and I am hoping I can go again next year.

Dive, There's a chance I'm not gonna put comics for awhile. I'm currently writing the plot alongside my run (and things are gonna be interesting. If I can ever comic draw.)
And I have a few surprises as well.

Re: The everyday thread
downloaded a few more games for the emulators.
-Digimon Battle spirit(1) it had a handfull of the main Digimon from season 1-3
including:
Guilmon
Terriermon
Veemon
Wormmon
Agumon
and Sukamon (dont ask me why)
I do think its lame that this has more digimon to play as then the second, and the sprites were all chibe and weird in number2, but number2 is way more balance, smoother, and simpler alltogether.
-Custom robo GX (japanese only...as in I have no friggin idea what everyones saying, but it's a fun game...when your playing)
-FFVI advance (im told it's a good game and I'll love all 50+ hours of gameplay...I hope I don't have to regret downloading a game requiring 50+hours of gameplay.)
-Pokemon the trading card game! (GBC)
Its a video game of the card game of the anime of the card game of the video game!!..
don't think about it too hard.
I just wanted to give it a shot, cause I really did like the card game back then, even if me and my friends had really choped up rules to make the game easier and quicker (although I forgot how it went)
on top of this, im still having a blast with all the other games, especially FF-Tactics advance.
getting this emulator to hold me off 'till the good games come was one of my best ideas yet XD

ONCE AGAIN, I had a good game of Zombies ruined by my father. So I went and read "Those Ties That Bind..." for no particular reason, and wished I could tell Ssuper to stop butting in. *laugh*
Parents were holding a garage sale, and Aero's girlfriend's parents showed up to it with him in tow. Had a bit of a chat, since I haven't seen him in ages, and he borrowed LOZ:Wind Waker, since his GC only has one game. =P Hopefully he'll be in contact more.
Must've been a while... he didn't even know about my Kai plushy... >.>

Heyhey, a girlfriend can last a lifetime if you water them every day and feed them right! ;D
Good luck to you poor soldier!
So, on the topic somewhat, my girlfriend has moved into her own apartment (I'm not moving out for another year, though I am going to University this month), now living close the inner city instead of over a inaccessible mountain in the opposite direction. I'm now here day 5, and it's a lovely place!
But here's the catch: She only has slightly old Wheetos. How will I survive? D:

Re: The everyday thread
and what after the toast man? make it last.
today I was engaged in an epic battle, all day, against some new and random virus DSF got yesterday, I finally found (after Hours of poking and prodding the crap out of this computer) I found it will not automatically infect newly made profiles (which was good cause I was getting nowhere in Safemode) Then I found out there is some serious problem with Microsoft Security Essentials, as it(for a very long time now) wont download updates (and not tending to this problem then is now biting my ass) and now it won't work all together!
so NOW im downloading AVG in hopes it'll work better (then Malwarebytes...which also failed)
(UPDATE, while downloading AVG...as I was typing this post)
AVG wont download...
shit
...well...I felt close to winning, but I am again losing to this thing.
I am now going back to trying to fix
MSE
since it's already installed, and it really is my last hope to fixing this.
-anyhow, on topic-
This weekend has been an absolutely boring-ass Weekend...that would sum it up, the most exciting thing I've done (for the past two weeks!) was watch Cowboy Beebop With Ruby and Steph...and that was a couple of hours ago. that show tempted me to draw for some reason and thats what reminded me ("oh, I cant draw without music, and I can't play music on this jacked up hunk-o-crap...") and I decided I should try to fix it, again.
the fact that im even able to post this is cause of the spare profile I was able to make...
crap..
this computer sucks.

Re: The everyday thread
I've had my Xbox taken away for a while now, apparently until I finally graduate, I can't blame her, but I tend to go, literally, insane from boredom... I've always had something to do, whether it was mundane or tedious, as long as it perked my interest, since...as long as I can remember.
"well you can draw! so why don't you do that more"
well!
subconscious voice!
theres more to it than just
doing
it!
I have to be:
1)
in the mood (often get there with music, and I don't get much since DSF's computer is breaking down)
and
2)
I need to know wtf im gonna draw, I know it may seem like it at times, but I don't literally
pull these out of my ass
, they are at the
very
least thought of before I start, and (since I have a somewhat short term memory) it makes changes as I draw it. (this is kinda why I can
never-ever-
ever
draw the same thing twice, or copy things effectively)
so yea,
since im bored as hell, and this computer has decided to work for however long it feels like...
*nervous*
okay, im gonna be putting up a rough of some story im putting together (not my main one, but related) it's going to take place some time after my main story begins, and...uhm..well, it's just so I can get some comment/critique/advise on how I organize panels and speech (I am a very bad organizer... the only things I can organize is tetris blocks)
so yea, im trying my hardest on this experiment, I'll have scans up soon and show you some progress or random things to keep you entertained.
(this computer froze 6 times while trying to make this post)

Strike, that's gotta suck.
even moreso than having your gf dump you via text.
Well, I got Disgaea 4 yesterday, and I'm going all herpderp on it.
Also, the Dennis I'm talking about is Genosect. A badass pokemon that doesn't afraid of everything. Even fire types fear it.

Re: The everyday thread
Today involved a lot of hugs. ^ω^
Sol took me to Aero's place, and Aero got strangely possessive. He kept nicking me off Sol and waving me at people in the street, yelling "Everyone loves a Chao!" XD He was holding me so much I smell like him now. >.> Then he took me with him when he went to do the laundry, sat me down to guard the washing, and... forgot about me. *chuckles* Sol was almost panicking 'cause he couldn't find me, and it took Aero a while to remember. X)
Also, this happened. =D
I've no idea how anyone got that on there. XD

Still trying to get an Action Replay for GBA.
Had to go to a store meeting at work last night. Bleh. SO BOOOORING
Went to see my Disability Employment Service this morning, and they've switched me off that guy with the beard and the American accent.
The new guy reminds me of my dad.
Not sure what else to do with today. =/
