From what my friend in Comp Tech told me, it takes place in a completely different city. also, it's in air, and the year is 1903. One thing to watch out for will be Flying Big Daddies.

Ohyeah and supposedly BioShock Infinite is the 'true' sequel to BioShock. I went on the website for it and they're acting like BioShock 2 never existed. Probably because they weren't involved in it.
